Seahawks Headquarters & Training Facility (VMAC)
Scope of Work
This design-build project for the NFL Seahawks and MLS Sounders is located on the east shore of Lake Washington and consists of 150,000 sf, three-story building, an 88,000 sf indoor practice facility as well as maintenance and support buildings for the several outdoor practice fields. On a 20 acre site, this facility houses administrative office space, coaches’ offices, a cafeteria, locker rooms, team meeting and training rooms and a complete playback theatre. The indoor practice facility lighting controls allow for maintenance, practice, play and Broadcast quality lighting. Team suites include various physical strengthening and reconditioning equipment, including three (3) therapeutic, two (2) soaking pools and a large lap pool.

Highlights

Our design-build responsibilities also included the design and installation for the data center; network cable infrastructure; security cabling; paging; wireless LAN; GPS time clock, game clock and scoreboard controls. The audio/video system included Broadcast quality wiring in interview rooms, indoor practice facility, auditorium and outdoor practice areas ad well as the video edit and Broadband video system.

Electrical systems included a 4000A service, emergency generator with ATS’s, mechanical equipment connections, UPS, standby and normal branch power wiring and normal and emergency as well as owner optional standby lighting systems. Our responsibilities also included the complete fire alarm system.
