The Village at Alderwood Mall is 194,000 sq ft, seven (7) building addition that features an outdoor shopping area in a streetscape setting. The addition includes 60,000 sq ft of hardscape area between the Village buildings that includes extensive landscape lighting, three (3) water features, outdoor sound system, decorative overhead festooned lighting, building up-lights, underground services for numerous kiosks. The electrical design also included two (2) 4000A switchboards & one (1) 3000A switchboard complete with distribution conduit to each lease space. A Village Fire Alarm system that is integrated into the Mall Fire Alarm System, communication & fire alarm conduits that interconnected each building, lighting control panels that were integrated into the Mall system. In addition the communication backbone cabling was executed on a design build basis. Extensive additions & modifications to the utility duct banks that serve the Village were also performed.
